Pacha's new found sweet tooth!

Pacha surprised us all when she insisted that she'd be given a piece of this Lemon Poppy Seed cupcakes! And we did!

The irresistible attraction to Pacha

Little Pacha, enjoying the cake

Thank you Mummy! It was so yummmmyyy!

And she was so full that she could
hardly lift her head up!

And when she could finally lift her head up,
she came back to the plate to lick it good!
That is our little Pacha! ;-)

Knowledge building - an on going process

I have resolved this year to attend at least one baking class/lesson a month. And this is my first class with my baking buddy, Ms Ana Sharana. I am ever so grateful to have found her to share interest in baking. In fact, this was our second baking lesson together.

R-L:  Ana, Azie (our Baking Sifu) and Yours Truly
And the going back journey was so challenging that it took us longer than usual to do that merely 110km!

The crawl - for nothing actually!

Thanks Ana! You are such a great friend!

Face Book

This is the Face Book I bought some time in 2007. I bought it for I found the book cute and informative. The graphics in the book are simply cute and interesting. Its unfortunate that I can't share the pages here for fear of breaking the Copyright Law.  And I can't add friends into this cute litte book! This little red book came in hardcover and has 111 pages. I simply loves this Face book!

Of good happy moments

We have known each other for more than 26 years now. How time flies. And we are grateful for each other. And our greatest achievement, the two sons. Now that the children have grown up, we have more time to ourselves! He has started working on the garden and I am back on my baking!
Thank you for being here!

Honey, wait up! Let me tie my shoe strings!

Who is that lady in the hat?

Look Honey, the boat is still here!

Thank you dear, for these happy moments.

Motoring on cupcakes

Had the customer allowed your host to use her own imagination to color all these items, she would have used bright/chilli red and black! Pastels and motoring theme somehow find each other challenging rather than complimenting! Anyway, thank you so much Noni for your continuous support.

Thank God that these helmets, tussels, spanners and boots had a safe flight to Kota Bahru!

At least we had each other!

Please stay and let us keep each other warm. For we only have no one but each other! These are stray kittens that found their way to our home. At the time this entry is made, Blacky did not make it to the day. Snow White has grown so fat now - thanks to the sardines my husband has been feeding her!

What she did last Ramadhan!

Ramadhan or the fasting month gave her a great opportunity to finish doing her home library. She has been putting that intention on hold for a few months. And Ramadahn was the best time to do this for there is almost no distraction!

And the additions shall continue endlessly!
And she can just spend time updating and reading her favourite magazines and self help books in this small cosy library of her own!

She also found time to visit the flea market at another district and managed to buy lots of lamps and art work at a bargain.

Painting on pua cloth on Sarawak design
crafted wood hanger for RM10!
She was very glad that she made these purchases. A cheap but worth the effort to browse through the flea market at night!
